About invoicefinance.help
One invoice, one calculator: what does it actually cost to get paid early?
Most business finance content is organised by product or by funder. This site is organised around a single decision instead. You bring the numbers for the invoice you actually have, and we show you what funding it early costs — including the part the advert does not mention — then you decide.
What we do
- Run an estimate of what one invoice costs to fund early: the cash that reaches your account today, the amount held back until your customer pays, the total cost, and the effective annual cost measured on the cash you actually receive.
- Explain, in plain English, how monthly discount rates, flat discounts, advance rates and recourse work, using official sources from the Reserve Bank of Australia, ASIC and Moneysmart.
- Hand you off, free, to a licensed business finance broker who can review the same numbers against what funders are actually offering — with your figures attached so you do not retype them.
What we do not do
- We do not quote funder rates, publish rate tables or rank funders.
- We are not a lender, credit provider or credit broker, and we do not hold an Australian Credit Licence or an Australian Financial Services Licence.
- We do not give personal financial advice, approve credit, or offer you a rate.
- We do not decide for you. The calculator gives you a verdict on the arithmetic; the decision and the contract are yours.
How the calculator works, and where it stops
The calculator takes the invoice value, the days until your customer pays, the percentage the funder advances, and either a discount rate per month or a flat discount off the face value, plus any one-off fees. It converts the monthly rate to an annual figure on the cash you receive today, which is the number worth comparing against anything else.
That is an estimate by design. It does not know whether your invoice qualifies, whether the fee is charged daily or taken upfront, whether the withheld amount is recourse or non-recourse, whether the funder takes security over the debtor, whether a personal guarantee is required, or how overdue invoices are treated. Use it to get the shape of the deal, then check the details against your contract and any written quote.
Talk to a licensed business finance broker
When you have run the numbers, you can send the whole result to a licensed business finance broker for a free review. Your invoice value, the payment gap, the advance rate, the fee basis and the calculated result travel with the message, so the conversation starts where it should. A review is not a credit approval and not a funding offer — the funder decides whether to approve the invoice and on what terms.
The licensed business finance broker who reviews your numbers is with Arrivau, the licensed broking business whose team publishes this site. If you leave your contact details, an Arrivau licensed broker follows up. Arrivau does not charge clients a fee for the consultation.
You can reach the same place from the calculator on the home page, from any guide on this site, or by emailing contact@invoicefinance.help.
Where our facts come from
Market figures come from official sources and carry the date they were read. The only market number used on this site is the cash rate target: 4.60%, effective 30 September 2026, decided 29 September 2026 (RBA media release), read on 3 October 2026. This site does not list funder rates or rankings. Rates move and they differ between funders and between invoices. In the chat, a broker-side assistant can share current reference rates, which are indicative only and subject to assessment of your own application. The Reserve Bank publishes the cash rate target that businesses can compare the effective cost against — see the reference below.
- Reserve Bank of Australia — Cash Rate Target
- ASIC — Avoiding investment and financial scams
- Moneysmart — Small business finance
